This role exists to modernize MoMos infrastructure by leading the migration of our virtualization platform to OpenStack and operating it at scale, in order to give millions of users a reliable, secure and cost-efficient foundation to transact on around the clock. Server Operations Stability — Operate and maintain Linux servers and the OpenStack environment to keep production systems highly available and running smoothly.
Monitoring Incident Response — Own monitoring across servers, applications, hardware and networks so incidents are detected early and resolved fast, minimizing user impact.
Security Compliance — Harden and protect systems and networks to safeguard against threats and keep the environment compliant with security standards.
Performance, Automation Continuous Improvement — Automate provisioning and optimize infrastructure to reduce recurring incidents, cut operating cost and steadily improve system performance.
Technical Mentorship — Guide junior engineers and set operational standards so the team scales its capability alongside the platform. Yêu cầu công việcKnowledge / Skills
Proven experience deploying and operating OpenStack in production, including compute, storage and networking components.
Deep Linux system administration, with a track record managing a large fleet of servers and applications at scale.
Strong grasp of storage and infrastructure (SAN, HCI) and TCP/IP networking.
Solid experience deploying and operating the web tech stack (Nginx, Haproxy, PHP, Java, Redis/Memcached, MySQL/Postgres, RabbitMQ, Oracle).
Strong automation skills with at least one scripting language (Bash/Python/Lua) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Strong ownership and accountability for any system incident, end to end.
Able to lead complex migrations and make sound architecture decisions under real constraints.
Fast learner who adapts to day-to-day changes in business and technology.
Problem-solving mindset and collaborative team player who can mentor others.
Bachelor's in Computer Science or comparable practical experience.
5+ years operating Linux servers at scale, with hands-on OpenStack deployment/operation experience.
Plus (not required): experience with public cloud such as AWS or Google Cloud, and large-scale platform migration projects.
