Market Development Associate

I. ABOUT VINDYNAMICS:

II. OVERVIEW

Location: TechnoPark Tower, Gia Lam, Hanoi, Vietnam

The role:

VinDynamics is building Vietnam's most ambitious robotics and AI commercial division — with a Go-Global mindset on day one. We move fast, we build things that don't exist yet, and we need someone who can keep up.

You'll work directly under the Division Head — across R&D, Partnership & Revenue, and Community & Strategy — making sure nothing falls through the cracks and everything moves forward. This is not a support role. You will own deliverables, solve real problems, and get your hands dirty when the team needs it.

This role will stretch you. Some days you're running project tracking across three teams. Some days you're building a process doc from scratch. Some days you're preparing a briefing for the President. If you want a predictable job, this isn't it. III. REQUIREMENTS

• 3–5 years inside a tech company — hardware, AI, robotics, or consulting in these sectors

• You understand how commercial teams work: what Sales cares about, how Marketing thinks, what R&D needs to go faster — and you can talk to all three without losing them

• You close loops. You follow up. You don't wait to be reminded twice

• Strong written communication — you can turn a messy situation into a clear one-pager under time pressure

• You're comfortable not having a playbook. You figure things out, document what you learn, and make the next person's job easier

• You use AI tools as a natural part of how you work — not because you were told to

• English fluency required. Vietnamese or Mandarin is a strong advantage.

IV. JOB DESCRIPTION

Keep the division moving

• Track all active projects across R&D, Partnership, and Community Growth — flag delays, push deadlines, escalate blockers before they become problems

• Prepare weekly executive reports and briefings for the Division Head and senior leadership — clear, concise, decision-ready

• Jump in and do the actual work when the team is stretched — write reports, build decks, run trackers, whatever is needed

Build what doesn't exist yet

• Design and document the division's working processes from zero — SOPs, templates, workflows, forms — turning how we work into something structured and repeatable

• Together with the R&D lead, maintain the division's knowledge base — making sure insights, research outputs, and strategic decisions are organized, accessible, and don't live only in someone's head

• Keep a living record of key decisions and their rationale — so institutional knowledge stays in the system, not just in people

Lead projects end to end

• Take ownership of ad-hoc strategic projects assigned by Division Head or senior leadership — scope them, run them, deliver them

• Coordinate across R&D, Sales, Marketing, and external stakeholders to move cross-team initiatives forward and remove blockers

Build the network that opens big doors

• Develop and maintain relationships with a focused list of priority accounts — global tech leaders in AI, robotics, and hardware

• Stay consistent and patient with long sales-cycle relationships — keep them warm, keep them progressing, report back to the team on what you're learning

• This scope will evolve as the team grows — think of it as an early opportunity to build relationships most people at your level never get access to
