VinDynamics is seeking a Head of Quality Control to lead the Quality Control function for humanoid robot development and deployment. This role carries full responsibility across two core areas:
You will plan, prepare, and execute certification and homologation activities for humanoid robots, covering both hardware and software components. The role requires close collaboration with QA, Hardware, Software, Firmware, AI/ML, Legal teams, as well as external certification laboratories, to ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met prior to mass deployment.
You will ensure quality compliance, operational stability, and efficiency across humanoid robot development programs. Working cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain, you will ensure all quality deliverables and gate requirements are satisfied for each development milestone.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quality Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
8+ years of experience in quality management or related roles in product development or manufacturing environments.
Lead Auditor certification or equivalent enterprise quality leadership experience is preferred.
Strong experience with quality standards, quality audits, and continuous quality improvement methodologies.
Experience working within a V-Model development framework.
Solid understanding of quality fundamentals, audit processes, and strong familiarity with ISO 9001.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills with excellent stakeholder management capability.
Ability to work independently and adapt to business travel requirements.
Willingness to engage with cross-functional teams and confidently express differing viewpoints.
Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, consistently delivering results on or ahead of deadlines.
High standards of accuracy, clarity, consistency, and thoroughness in work execution.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Strong reporting and escalation skills.
Lead Product Development Gate Reviews to ensure quality readiness, risk control, and regulatory compliance.
Drive customer-focused quality evaluations to meet market expectations, regulatory standards, and user requirements.
Lead cross-functional quality initiatives involving R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
Build, manage, and lead the Quality Control team to achieve departmental objectives.
Drive continuous improvement programs using CAPA, root cause analysis, and risk management tools.
Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Own and govern the ISO Quality Management System, including setting quality objectives and leading internal and external audits.
Define and execute certification and homologation strategies across target markets.
Closely manage and track certification and homologation plans to meet project timelines.
Lead regulatory approval activities, including RF/telecommunication conformity certification and quality inspection registration for imported components.
Develop and execute the departmental strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
