Head of Electronics and Firmware

Description

You will work and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as mechanical and software teams to effectively develop electronic hardware and embedded software.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the electronics and firmware roadmap across products

• Build and lead a high performing team of hardware, PCB, and firmware engineers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective electronics and firmware

• Oversee design of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits, including power distribution board, motor controllers, sensor interfaces

• Ensure best practices in coding standards, version controls, testing, and documentation for firmware software.

Requirements

• Master or Ph.D. degree in robotics, electrical engineering or similar fields

• 5 years minimum in electronics and embedded systems developments

• Strong expertise in circuit design, PCB development, microcontrollers, and real-time embedded firmware

• Proficiency with tools such as Altium, OrCAD or equivalent EDA software

• Advanced knowledge and skills in C/C++ and RTOS for embedded systems

• Proficiency with communication protocols such as EtherCat, UART, BLE, etc.

• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
