Job summary:
VinDynamics is rapidly scaling to a global organization of 400–500 employees, with operations across Vietnam and the United States. We are seeking a highly capable Head of HR & Administration to lead and build a strong people and operations foundation to support our growth.
This role will oversee end-to-end HR functions including talent acquisition, employer branding, employee relations, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and culture building, alongside administration and workplace operations.
You will act as a strategic business partner, working closely with leadership and functional teams to attract, develop, and retain top-tier engineering talent while ensuring a high-performance, collaborative, and globally aligned organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Lead and manage all HR functions across Vietnam and the US.
• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract global engineering talent.
• Customize and manage compensation & benefits frameworks aligned with market competitiveness and company growth.
• Oversee employee relations, compliance, and a high-performance working environment.
• Design and implement learning & development programs and leadership pipeline initiatives.
• Drive company culture and engagement, aligned with VinGroup and VinDynamics core values
• Establish scalable HR systems, policies, and processes.
• Act as a strategic HR business partner to company leaders.
• Lead overall administration and facility operations, ensuring a professional, efficient, and high-quality workplace environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Linguistics or related fields.
Minimum 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3–5 years in the role of technology/ IT recruitment for Vietnam and other markets.
Proven experience in technology companies, startups, or high-growth environments, especially in hiring and developing engineering or technical teams.
Strong hands-on experience across HR functions and administration/office operations management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience scaling organizations from early-stage to mid-size (300+ employees).
Experience leading office setup, expansion, or renovation projects.
Familiarity with global HR practices, labor laws, and cross-border workforce management.
Exposure to high-tech industries such as robotics, AI, software, or engineering-driven organizations.
Experience managing multi-location operations or supporting international expansion (e.g., US) is highly preferred.
Personality/ Attitude
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze, advise, and influence leadership decisions.
Proactive, flexible, and highly adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment.
Decisive and resilient, with the ability to handle complex and high-pressure situations.
Strong ownership mindset with execution excellence.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
