Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize mechanical parts for humanoid robots, ensuring high precision, durability, and lightweight construction.
Conduct kinematic and dynamic analysis to improve joint performance and efficiency.
Select appropriate bearings, gears, and materials to achieve desired performance and reliability.
Collaborate with electrical and control engineers to integrate actuators and sensors within the joint system.
Prototype, test, and refine mechanisms to ensure compliance with performance, safety, and reliability standards.
Support manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring that designs are cost-effective and scalable.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience in designing mechanical components, preferably robotic joints or precision mechanisms.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) for mechanical design.
Familiarity with actuation systems (servo motors, harmonic drives, torque sensors, etc.).
Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, machining.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes like CNC machining, injection, molding, casting.
Knowledge of robotics standards and compliance requirements is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in humanoid or industrial robotics.
