Senior UX Researcher

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher who can turn user understanding into better product decisions. You will lead research across our coaching platform and emerging consumer experiences, helping teams find the right problems, test solutions, and learn from what we launch. You will work closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and company leaders, and help strengthen Everfit's research practice

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead interviews, usability studies, surveys, and other research with coaches, clients, and fitness businesses. 

• Investigate journeys such as onboarding, workout programming, progress tracking, coach discovery, and the use of AI-assisted tools. 

• Combine research findings with product data and customer feedback to identify needs, explain behavior, and prioritize opportunities. 

• Test concepts and prototypes early, then evaluate shipped experiences to see whether they solve the intended problem. 

• Present clear, actionable findings to product, design, engineering, and leadership teams. 

• Build reusable research practices, including participant recruitment, study planning, and sharing insights across teams. 

• Mentor teammates in research methods and help make user evidence a consistent part of product development

Requirements

• You have 4+ years of UX research experience and examples of research that influenced a shipped product or product strategy.
• You can choose appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods, conduct rigorous studies, and explain the limits of your findings.
• You are comfortable researching complex products across web and mobile.
• You communicate clearly in English, both in writing and conversation, and can make findings useful to different audiences.
• You are confident collaborating with designers, engineers, product managers, and senior stakeholders.
• You are thoughtful about accessibility, participant privacy, and researching personal health and wellness experiences.
• You are self-directed, open to feedback, and willing to challenge assumptions with evidence.
• Experience with B2B SaaS, consumer marketplaces, fitness or wellness, or AI-assisted products is a plus
