About the Role

We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented, and open-minded QA Engineers (Middle to Senior) to join our AI-first team. In this role, you will work closely with UI/UX designers, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and overall quality of our products.

What makes this role different: we expect you to actively use AI tools in your daily QA work - from generating test cases to triaging bugs to writing scripts. You’ll be part of a team that treats AI as a core working tool, not a buzzword.

Depending on your experience level, you will contribute to defining test strategies, executing test cases, mentoring teammates, and driving the QA process across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Process

• Collaborate with UI/UX and Business Analysts to verify the accuracy and completeness of Figma designs and specifications.
• Brainstorm test scenarios, design test cases, and create issue checklists.
• Ensure quality standards are followed throughout all stages of product development.
• Provide early and constructive feedback on requirements to prevent defects.
• Champion and enforce QA processes across teams (for more senior levels).

AI-Assisted QA Workflows

• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate daily QA work - generating test cases from specs, drafting bug reports, analyzing test results, and exploring edge cases.
• Leverage AI to review requirements and specs, identifying gaps, ambiguities, and potential issues faster.
• Continuously experiment with new AI tools and techniques to improve personal and team QA efficiency.
• Share AI workflow learnings with the team - what works, what doesn’t, and how to prompt effectively for QA tasks.

Testing & Issue Management

• Execute functional and regression testing using predefined or newly designed test cases.
• Identify, document, and track issues clearly in the bug-tracking system.
• Prepare and maintain test reports and summaries for QA Lead and stakeholders.
• Produce detailed documentation of test processes and results (for more senior levels).

Collaboration & Release Management

• Work with Developers and Product/BA teams to align on requirements and expected outcomes.
• Support QA Lead in managing sprint and milestone releases.
• Track releases and ensure smooth delivery cycles.
• Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing their tasks and providing feedback (for more senior levels).

Automation & Technical Skills (Nice to Have)

• Write and maintain basic test automation scripts, using AI assistance where possible.
• Perform API testing to validate backend logic, AI endpoints, and data integrity.
• Have basic scripting ability to support test automation and data validation.

Requirements

Required

• 2-5 years of experience in software testing or Quality Assurance, with increasing responsibilities depending on seniority.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and execution processes.
• Hands-on experience writing and executing manual test cases; experience in regression and functional testing.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, or similar).
• Active user of AI tools in daily work - you already use ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar tools to help you work faster and smarter. This is not optional.
• Open-minded and curious - willing to try new tools, challenge existing processes, and continuously learn. You don’t wait to be told to experiment.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• English proficiency at a working to professional level, depending on seniority.

Should Have

• Ability to validate data quality - checking AI outputs, prompt responses, and data pipeline consistency.
• Product sense - you notice when something feels off in the user experience, not just when it’s technically broken. You can articulate why a flow is confusing or a feature doesn’t serve the user.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing AI/LLM-powered features - understanding non-deterministic outputs, prompt regression, evaluation of AI-generated content.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST clients).
• Familiarity with LLM concepts (prompts, tokens, hallucination, context windows) and how they affect testing strategy.
• Experience defining AI-specific acceptance criteria (e.g., “response must not hallucinate exercise names”).
