About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the Core squad and help improve and evolve the foundational coach and client experience at Everfit.
You'll report to and work closely with a Senior Product Manager and co-founding team based in the US, who owns the Core product strategy and roadmap. Your role is to be the on-the-ground execution lead in Vietnam — owning features end-to-end, driving the local engineering and design team, and maintaining tight daily alignment with the US Senior PM on priorities, specs, and delivery.
This is a role for someone who loves detail, cares about craft, and finds satisfaction in making complex workflows feel simple and effortless. Core is where product fundamentals matter most — you'll develop strong habits around user research, spec writing, delivery management, and data-driven iteration, building the PM toolkit you'll carry for the rest of your career.
Responsibilities
Roadmap Execution & Delivery
- Partner with the Senior PM and co-founding team to break down the Core roadmap into executable delivery: PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
- Own feature areas end-to-end — workout programming flows, client tracking, template management, scheduling, or communication tools.
- Drive the weekly delivery cadence with the Vietnam engineering and design team, keeping quality high and velocity consistent.
- Manage scope and trade-offs clearly; surface risks early and never let complexity become a surprise.
Deep User Understanding
- Spend real time with coaches — understand how they program workouts, manage client check-ins, track progress, and communicate results.
- Monitor core engagement metrics: daily active coaches, program completion rates, client retention, feature adoption.
- Identify drop-off points and friction in high-frequency workflows; design improvements and validate through experiments.
- Build a feedback loop from support tickets, NPS, and direct user research into a prioritized, well-reasoned backlog.
Product Craft & Collaboration
- Work closely with Design to ensure core workflows are simple, intuitive, and delightful — even for complex coaching scenarios.
- Collaborate with Engineering to understand technical constraints and make smart scope decisions without compromising user experience.
- Partner with the AI squad on AI-assisted features that enhance core workflows — smart programming suggestions, automated check-ins, AI-generated progress summaries.
- Align with the US-based Senior PM on priorities, user insights, and product direction.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Background
- You are US educated and have lived, studied, or worked in the US. You deeply understand both Western and Eastern cultures and can help bridge the two as we build a global product company from Vietnam.
- You have both the study and work experience abroad, and you have been exposed to high-performing, fast-moving environments. You carry a global perspective and are eager to bring that mindset to product development at Everfit.
- You have a strong product and technology foundation. You understand how software gets built and enjoy working closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to solve real user problems and deliver impactful products.
Must-Have
- 2–4 years of product management experience in a SaaS or software product.
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end: discovery → definition → delivery → iteration.
- High attention to detail — you write specs that leave no room for ambiguity and catch edge cases before engineering does.
- Strong product instincts and UX judgment — you can tell when a flow is too complex and know how to simplify it without losing the value.
- Comfortable with data: feature adoption tracking, funnel analysis, engagement metrics.
- Excellent English communication skills — clear async writing, crisp stakeholder updates, and strong facilitation in sprint ceremonies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building tools for professionals, creators, or small business operators.
- Background in scheduling, workflow automation, or productivity software.
- Familiarity with how coaches, trainers, or instructors run their day-to-day business.
- Curiosity about AI-assisted product features — smart defaults, automation, and personalized experiences.
- Passion for fitness, wellness, health tech, or coaching culture.
