Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Research & Development (R&D) team for speech processing projects.
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into R&D problems and technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution in the research and development of speech processing technologies.
- Focus on Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) development, including:
- Building and customizing acoustic models, language models, lexicons, and decoders.
- Researching and implementing advanced Deep Learning approaches such as CTC, Transducer, and related architectures.
- Contribute to other speech-related domains, including:
- Noise reduction and speech enhancement
- Speaker recognition and speaker verification
- Speaker diarization / speech separation
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in speech processing or speech AI domains.
- Technical Expertise
- Proven experience in research and development of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) systems.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end pipeline for building and customizing:
- Acoustic Models
- Language Models
- Lexicons
- Decoders
- Hands-on experience with Deep Learning architectures such as CTC, Transducer, and related models.
- Proficient with AI/ML development frameworks and ecosystems including PyTorch and Hugging Face.
- Nice to Have
- Experience in related speech processing tasks such as:
- Noise cancellation / filtering
- Speech enhancement
- Speaker recognition and verification
- Speaker diarization / source separation
