Job Summary:
Develop and maintain core backend services for the data marketplace, including merchant, dataset catalog, order/subscription, entitlement, API access, billing integration, admin, and reporting capabilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop backend services for data collecting system, merchant onboarding, dataset catalog, listing approval, orders, entitlements, and admin workflows.
- Design and maintain database schemas, API contracts, service logic, and integration points.
- Implement event-driven data pipelines using Apache Kafka with strict idempotency and schema governance.
- Build marketplace infrastructure for high-throughput API rate-limiting, request throttling, and billing usage metering.
- Implement fine-grained access control (RBAC/ABAC), data masking, logging, and audit trails.
- Deploy, scale, and optimize containerized and serverless workloads using AWS compute (Lambda, ECS, EKS).
- Manage complex database transactions, optimize indexes, and handle concurrency for high throughput.
- Support UAT, releases, production issue analysis, and continuous CI/CD deployment pipelines. Prepare technical documentation, support handover operations, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies.
REQUIREMENT:
Relevant education and experience:
- Backend Expertise: 5+ years of professional backend development experience with deep knowledge in ONE OF the following ecosystems:
- Java: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data...
- C#: .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework...
- Golang: Standard library primitives, concurrency models (goroutines/channels), and frameworks like Gin, Echo, or Fiber...
- Kafka Integration: Solid experience with Apache Kafka. Understand event-driven patterns, message partitioning, and idempotency.
- AWS & Compute Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS ecosystems. An AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification (or higher) is a major plus.
- Container orchestration (AWS ECS / EKS).
- Serverless architecture (AWS Lambda).
- Core AWS services (S3, IAM, KMS, API Gateway).
- Database Mastery: Strong experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or non-relational databases. Knowledge in query optimization, index tuning, and managing concurrent transactions, locking mechanisms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of system design, database design, API security, caching, messaging, logging, and performance optimization.
- Understanding data delivery/API monetization and entitlement control is a strong plus.

- Able to balance speed, quality, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborative with Architect, BA, DevOps, FE, QA, Security, and external developer teams.
