JOB DESCRIPTION
Define and execute the company’s mechanical and hardware technology strategy and roadmap for Humanoid Robot in alignment with overall business goals
Lead and scale top engineering talent across Mechanical, Electronics, Motor, Embedded and Assemble Testing to grow the hardware team
Partner with AI, Software, Control, Product and Operations teams to ensure system-level integration and product success
Oversee the design, development, validation, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and embedded hardware systems
Manage hardware budgets, engineering resources, technology investments, and strategic partnerships
Drive development of key subsystems including actuators, motor drives, power systems, batteries, sensors, embedded controllers
Collaborate with manufacturing partners for scalable and cost-effective production
Own the full hardware/firmware product lifecycle: concept → design → validation → production
Implement rigorous design reviews, testing methodologies, and documentation standards
Define and execute the company’s hardware strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Relevant education and experience
Master’s or PhD degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
10+ years of experience in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, or embedded systems engineering
5+ years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN/CAN-FD, SPI, UART, Ethernet, and industrial fieldbus systems.
Personality/ Attitude
Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
Strategic thinker with strong business and product mindset
Proactive, dedicated, business-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn
Good communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
