Position Summary
The Data Business Analyst is the bridge between business objectives and technical data implementation. You will be responsible for analyzing client requirements, defining detailed data structures, and establishing precise labeling guidelines to ensure the data produced by the center meets the highest standards for AI model training.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis: Elicit and document detailed data requirements from stakeholders or the Product Manager.
Data Specification: Define Data Schemas, Metadata structures, and Feature sets (e.g., specific attributes for object detection or sentiment analysis).
Labeling Guidelines: Create comprehensive manuals for the Data Annotation team (e.g., defining Bounding Box tight-fitting rules, Occlusion levels, or Keypoint placement).
Quality Logic Design: Define automated and manual Validation Rules to ensure data integrity and accuracy (e.g., IoU thresholds, consistency checks).
UAT & Feedback Loop: Perform User Acceptance Testing on data batches before delivery and translate client feedback into technical adjustments for the production team.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Quality Analyst in tech-heavy environments.
Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL for data querying; familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV); understanding of AI/ML basic concepts (Supervised Learning, Training vs. Testing sets).
Documentation: Strong ability to create Flowcharts, Data Mapping documents, and detailed Annotation Guidelines.
Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail—capable of spotting edge cases in data that could fail an AI model.
Language: Professional English (reading technical papers and writing documentation).
