Job Description
Mechanical and Electrical Assembly: Assemble mechanical components, equipment, and perform electrical wiring for robot systems based on technical drawings and required procedures.
Mechanical System Testing: Conduct testing and inspection of mechanical structures and electrical systems to ensure accurate operation and compliance with quality standards.
Supplier and Fabrication Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with machining vendors and component suppliers to order and produce mechanical parts, components, and materials according to technical specifications.
Support for Programming Team: Collaborate with software/controls engineers during the testing and commissioning phases of the robot.
Technical Drawing Review: Read and verify technical drawings to ensure final product accuracy, quality compliance, and feasibility during the assembly process.
Requirements
Relevant education and experience
Education: Bachelor’s or College degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Electrical–Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical assembly, or automation.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and use measurement and inspection tools.
Communication Skills: Strong teamwork and effective communication across departments.
Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, patient, proactive, with good problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience participating in robotics competitions or working on robotics or automation projects is a strong advantage, helping candidates quickly become familiar with automation equipment and testing procedures.
