Creative Manager

Dual-Track Creative Leadership

• Own the overall performance, roadmap, and operating model of the Creative Team across Graphic Design (Beauty, Health, FMCG, Electronic, Mom & Baby, Nestlé Pure Service), Livestream Design (2D/3D visual, physical set/decor), Camp&Mer (Visual Merchandising, Operational Excellence), and the AI Team (AI Enablement, AI Creative).
• Balance 2 mandates: keep current production delivering reliably today, while standing up and scaling the AI capability that reshapes production tomorrow.
• Define clear ownership, interfaces, and hand-offs between the Production track and the AI track to avoid overlap and keep both moving.

Delivery & Quality

• Oversee design delivery quality across all graphic and livestream design pods, ensuring output meets brand and marketplace standards.
• Drive adoption and embedding of validated AI workflows into daily production; grow designers along the AI adoption ladder
• Own the Design QC function: review output quality vs. brand, distinguish workflow vs. user errors, validate AI produced designs, and run SOP accuracy checks.
• Report output and productivity metrics (throughput, turnaround, first-pass acceptance, cost per asset) to leadership.

Build & Scale

• Own the AI workflow roadmap and strategy; decide which workflows are validated and promoted into production.
• Oversee AI Workflow Designers to build workflows (e.g., Figma / Weave), run validation sprints (pass/fail), and write & maintain trainable SOPs.
• Oversee AI Creative Champions to drive adoption across the Production team, own training rollout per workflow and track adoption levels.
• Report AI adoption progress and impact (productivity gains, quality consistency, cost reduction) to leadership.
• Priority: recruit, build, and develop the AI Team — including hiring the currently vacant AI Team Leader — and shape the team's ways of working and AI mindset.

Commercial, P&L & Stakeholder Management

• Own the financial performance of the creative function — budgeting, resource allocation, and cost efficiency to protect margin.
• Consult with brands and internal stakeholders (Commercial, Media, Livestream, Affiliate & Influencer, Planning & Solution) to scope deliverables, timelines, and new creative service offerings, including content readiness for cross border initiatives (OnPoint Go Global / TikTok Shop US).
• Negotiate contracts with livestream and production partners to optimize cost and meet service levels.

People & Capability Development

• Lead, coach, and develop team leaders and members across both tracks; build competency frameworks including AI capability building.
• Manage performance against clear, output-based goals and foster a culture of ownership, speed, and innovation.

1. Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Design, Media, Marketing, Communications, or related).

2. Experience

• Around 6–10 years managing creative teams (graphics, content, video, and/or livestream), ideally in e-commerce, social commerce, or agency environments; 3+ years at manager level.
• Proven experience adopting, building, or scaling AI workflows in a creative production environment, with demonstrable productivity and quality outcomes.
• Track record of running creative delivery at scale under SLA and cost pressure, and of leading teams through change / transformation.
• Commercial acumen: has owned or co-owned a P&L, service budget, or production cost structure; understands the relationship between utilization, margin, and team sustainability.
• Analytical mind with strong logical/numerical reasoning — able to deliver insights based on data (throughput, cost per asset, revision/adoption rates).
• People leadership: builds, develops, and retains creative and technical talent; comfortable with performance feedback and workload management.
• Actively uses AI in creative workflows with a clear point of view on where AI enhances and where it falls short; OnPoint is an AI-native organization and this role is expected to help define what AI-enabled creative production looks like at scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.

3. Competencies

• Digital & AI Fluency: Champions AI-augmented ways of working and decides which workflows are production ready.
• Stakeholder Management: Identifies, engages, and satisfies stakeholder needs across projects and the organization.
• Develops Talent & Builds Effective Teams: Inspires, guides, and develops members across both tracks; builds a team from the ground up (incl. the vacant AI Team Leader hire).
• Leading Change: Guides the team through the transition to an AI-augmented model, ensuring successful adoption and outcomes.
• Strategic Mindset: Sees ahead to future possibilities and translates them into scalable creative strategies.
