About Security Operation Center is responsible for monitoring and handling information security issues to detect, analyze, respond to, prevent, and investigate security incidents, ensuring cybersecurity for an organization. The SOC currently manages and provides services to nearly 100 clients, including government ministries and agencies, and multi-industry organizations and enterprises both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Job Description:

– Manage and control the quality of services provided to a group of the company’s clients: 24/7 Information Security Monitoring, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, etc.

– Manage information security maturity: Assess and advise on enhancing information security maturity levels.

– Manage Information Security Risk & Continuous Threat Exposure Management for client systems.

– Identify and manage client information security issues during monitoring operations and incident handling.

– Represent the CMRC to collaborate with internal VCS departments (Deployment, Solution Development, PM, Sales, Pre-sales, AM, Customer Service, etc.) & Clients to resolve issues within the scope of service provision.

Ensure SLA compliance as per signed contracts with Clients.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: 

– Bachelor’s degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics…

– English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher

• Requirements/Competencies:

– Strong Japanese language proficiency, equivalent to N1 or N2 (MUST).

– 2 – 3+ years of experience in providing Information Security services (Offensive; Defense; TI, etc.). VCS is willing to provide further training on SOC services.

– Willingness to travel to Japan.

• Preferred (but not mandatory):

– Knowledge of Information Security, equivalent to Security+ certification.

– Knowledge of hacking techniques, equivalent to CEH certification.

– Experience in managing information security risks within an enterprise is a plus.

Priority given to candidates with project management certifications or information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
