Responsibilities

• Job Description:

– IT System Administration: Server, Virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V/KVM), Private Cloud (OpenStack)

– Administration of service servers on operating systems: Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), Windows Server

– Deployment and operation of Web server platforms (nginx, apache), Mail server, software production management (Gitlab, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira, etc.), user management (AD, Proxy, DNS, DHCP, Antivirus Server, etc.)

– Deployment and operation of HA/LB and Backup/Restore solutions for servers and data

– Deployment and operation of Firewall, PIM/PAM, VPN, AD, Antivirus security solutions, etc

– Research and deployment of automated monitoring and management systems to ensure system security

– Research and deployment of new technology solutions for the system: Server, Load Balancer, Cloud Computing, Storage, Backup/Restore, Archive, Disaster Recovery (DR)

– Research, build, and develop Opensource solutions or system integration for operation and service delivery

– Coordinate with units to implement according to processes and tools

– Research, test, propose, and implement new technologies, new services, and technical improvement measures to enhance capacity and improve the quality of the IT system

Qualifications

• Educational Background: 

– Bachelor’s degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics…

– English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher

• Knowledge/Experience:

Basic Requirements:

– 1-2 years of experience in deploying and managing infrastructure and applications

– Understanding and passion for hardware and hardware devices

– Good knowledge and extensive experience in deploying, managing, and operating server systems using Linux and Windows operating systems

– Experience with server virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/Hyper-V/KVM

– Experience in deploying and operating common Linux services such as Webserver, Mail server, LB, etc

– General knowledge of IT network systems (network architecture, connections, service flows)

– Ability to handle new tasks or incidents effectively

Advanced Requirements:

– Professional certifications in system administration such as MCSA, MCSE, MCITP on Windows 2012/2016 platforms, Linux LPI certifications, Unix operating system administration certifications from IBM, HP… are an advantage

– Experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, php is an advantage

– Experience using Docker/Container for work purposes

– Proficiency in setting up monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Nagios, Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, etc

– Solid understanding of network technology, OSI network model, TCP/IP, IPv6, IP address management, DNS, DHCP

– Experience in operating software production management systems such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira, etc., is an advantage

– Knowledge of Information Security is an advantage
