Viettel Cyber Security One Member Limited Liability Company (VCS) focuses on the implementation, research, and in-depth development of information security products and solutions, while also providing cybersecurity (CS) products and services to large domestic and international organizations and enterprises.

Currently, VCS is providing Information Security assurance systems for major clients. These systems are all independently researched and mastered by VCS engineers, utilizing the latest technologies such as microservices, Docker, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch… on large resources with very high performance. We are seeking System Operation Engineers to operate and exploit these systems and applications to ensure the most stable system operation.

Responsibilities

• Job Description:

– Receive and operate the company’s critical systems/products

– Receive and resolve system issues, collaborating with relevant teams for prompt and timely solutions

– Analyze and identify root causes to provide thorough solutions for incidents through Problem Tickets

– Participate in optimizing and improving system performance

– Maintain system profiles, generate statistics, and provide periodic system quality reports

– Apply and maintain Information Security standards and guidelines at the operating system and backend levels: web server, database, etc., on the company’s systems

– Provide guidance and training to lower-level personnel

Qualifications

• Educational Background: 

– Bachelor’s degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics…

– English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher

• Requirements/Competencies:

Basic Requirements:

– 1-2 years of experience in deploying and managing infrastructure and applications

– Understanding and passion for hardware and hardware devices

– Good knowledge and extensive experience in deploying, managing, and operating server systems using Linux and Windows operating systems

– Experience with server virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/Hyper-V/KVM

– Experience in deploying and operating common Linux services such as Webserver, Mail server, LB, etc

– General knowledge of IT network systems (network architecture, connections, service flows)

– Ability to handle new tasks or incidents effectively

Advanced Requirements:

– Professional certifications in system administration such as MCSA, MCSE, MCITP on Windows 2012/2016 platforms, Linux LPI certifications, Unix operating system administration certifications from IBM, HP… are an advantage

– Experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, php is an advantage

– Experience using Docker/Container for work purposes

– Proficiency in setting up monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Nagios, Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, etc

– Solid understanding of network technology, OSI network model, TCP/IP, IPv6, IP address management, DNS, DHCP

– Experience in operating software production management systems such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira, etc., is an advantage

– Knowledge of Information Security is an advantage
