As a SRE Engineer at VCS, you will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in building, researching & developing tools to optimize the operation and monitoring of the company’s systems.
• Work closely with the software development team to enhance monitoring capabilities, troubleshooting, and system stability.
• Additionally, you will receive training in system Information Security (IS), establish measures to mitigate IS risks to the system, and participate in researching and resolving issues related to monitoring and operation to ensure IS.

Responsibilities

• Job Description:

– Build, operate, and monitor the infrastructure system to ensure high uptime and availability

– Design and implement automation tools and processes (CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, scaling)

– Collaborate with the development team to optimize applications and ensure their security, performance, and scalability

– Manage and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and propose improvement solutions

– Create documentation, procedures, and guidelines for system operations

– Participate in system architecture design and provide technical recommendations to enhance stability and reliability

– Write handbooks and documentation for work purposes

– Coordinate with units to implement according to processes and tools

– Research, test, and propose the implementation of new technologies, new services, and technical improvement measures to enhance capacity and improve the quality of the IT system

Qualifications

• Educational Background: 

– Bachelor’s degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics…

– English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher

• Knowledge/Experience:

– At least 3 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), DevOps, or similar role

– Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration

– Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar

– Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

– Skills in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar)

– Basic knowledge of networking, system security, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)

– Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with effective communication with the development team

• Preferred:

– Experience building large-scale, high-availability, microservices-based systems

– Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)

– Experience optimizing system and database performance
