Middle/Senior Software Engineer in Test/SDET - Open to Developers Transitioning - Sign-on Bonus

We're transforming how technology teams build, test, and deliver software. We're creating an engineering culture built on ownership, automation, continuous improvement, and quality built in from day one - not tested at the end.

As a Middle/Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET), you'll play an important role in shaping this culture. Working within a cross-functional delivery team, you'll build and maintain automated testing solutions, improve engineering practices, and help teams release software with greater speed, quality, and confidence.

Beyond testing, you'll bring a product mindset to understand how the software works, who it serves, and how quality impacts the overall product and customer experience.

The role is also open to Software Developers who are looking to broaden their engineering skill set and transition into an Automation Quality Engineering (SDET) career path, bringing their existing programming and software development experience into a quality-focused engineering role.

• Analyze, design, create, and execute automated test cases for backend microservices and monolithic applications, as well as end-to-end tests using tools such as Cypress and Playwright.
• Design, create, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, system, and end-to-end testing, while continuously improving test coverage and quality.
• Perform manual testing and carry out non-functional testing such as performance testing, resilience testing, security testing.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Software Engineers, Product Owners and stakeholders to identify and manage quality risks.
• Code review and educate developers to create good automated tests.
• Contribute to exploratory testing, release verification and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Actively participate in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies, providing insights and guidance into quality and testing progress.
• Lead quality and quality automation in the scrum team(s) and raise the quality bar.
