Understand and communicate Appian application architecture; design conceptual architecture across records, reports, expression rules and process models.
Deliver across the full software development lifecycle, with a focus on Agile.
Assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
Configure solution requirements on the platform; diagnose the root cause of issues, seek clarification, and shortlist solution alternatives.
Own the quality of what you build — design, write and maintain automated tests for your rules, interfaces and integrations, treating testing as part of "done" rather than a separate phase.
Who We're Looking For
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
At least 3 years hands-on experience building applications on an enterprise low-code platform — Appian, OutSystems, Mendix, Microsoft Power Platform, Pega, or similar — and willingness to transition to Appian.
Solid knowledge of the software development process, especially software requirements analysis.
A genuine testing mindset: edge-case and failure-oriented thinking ("how can this break?"), test-first habits, and ownership of defects through to production.
Strong problem-solving, organisation and analytical skills.
Effective written and verbal communication, in both Vietnamese and English, with internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor team members on good quality practice and experience with leading team members.
Experience of using AI into sprint work to improve productivity.
Hands-on test automation (e.g. FitNesse, Cucumber/BDD, Selenium) and API testing (e.g. Postman/REST); awareness of performance testing (e.g. JMeter, Locust).
CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and UI/UX experience in an Agile environment.
