Business Analyst – Core Insurance Platform

· Gather and analyze business requirements from clients/insurance domain experts (Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Premium, Product Factory, Commission, Reinsurance...)

· Produce business specification documents (BRD/FSD), use cases, and business process flows

· Work with Product/Engineering to translate requirements into system design, including Product Configuration design

· Define business rules for the Rule Engine and Workflow Engine

· Support QA in building test cases based on business requirements, and participate in UAT with clients

· Train and support clients during implementation (go-live), and write user documentation

· Support demos and presales with business/solution consulting when needed

· Propose process improvements and optimize user experience on the platform

Must-have

· 4+ years of BA experience in insurance, banking, or financial services (insurance strongly preferred)

· Solid understanding of insurance business processes: Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Premium/Billing (life or non-life insurance)

· Strong ability to write clear, rigorous specification documents (BRD, FSD, User Stories)

· Strong analytical thinking, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication skills, comfortable working across stakeholders (clients, developers, QA, presales)

· Able to work independently and lead requirement discussions with minimal guidance

Nice-to-have

· Prior experience on Core Insurance, Bancassurance, or Insurance ERP implementation projects

· Knowledge of insurance data models and reinsurance

· Skilled in process modeling with BPMN, UML, or tools like Visio, Draw.io, Figma

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

· Strong English (reading documentation, working with international partners if needed)

· Exposure to AI applications in insurance (OCR, AI Document Review, AI Claim Assistant) is a plus
