- Design and develop scalable Ruby on Rails applications and backend services capable of handling large volumes of data.
- Design and optimize database schemas based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Continuously improve the codebase through refactoring and technical debt reduction.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external APIs and third-party systems.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production incidents.

- Solid experience with MySQL, including database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Experience designing and developing systems with complex architecture and external API integrations.
- Experience with application performance monitoring, profiling, and optimization.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong knowledge of web application security, authentication, authorization, and common security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based development environments.
- Good English communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global engineering environment.
