Responsibilities

• Job Description:

– Investigate, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents occurring on the organization’s IT infrastructure

– Identify specific vulnerabilities and weaknesses and provide recommendations for quick and thorough remediation

– Participate in handling network infrastructure incidents for customers, especially DDoS attacks. Develop service recovery strategies

Qualifications

• Educational Background: 

– Bachelor’s degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics…

– English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher

• Requirements/Competencies:

– Knowledge of network models, network protocols, OSI model, TCP/IP…

– Knowledge of routing and switching protocols (Layer 2, Layer 3) such as: VLAN, STP, static route, OSPF, BGP…

– Basic knowledge of DNS, HTTP/S, SSL, TLS…

– Knowledge of how Windows and Linux operating systems work. Understanding of basic OS concepts and components, including: file, process, command line, thread, services, library, memory, disks, OS API, User Mode, Kernel Mode

• Preferred:

– Knowledge of web security and DDoS attacks

– Knowledge of ISP networks or Enterprise network models, experience in operating/monitoring ISP or Enterprise networks

– Possession of one of the following Network or Security certifications is an advantage, for example: Network certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, or network security certifications such as CCNP Security, OSCP, CCIE Security…
