 Responsibility 

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/data pipelines for data migration projects

• Analyze source systems and target data models to define mapping and transformation 

logic

• Extract data from multiple sources (databases, flat files, APIs, legacy systems)

• Transform and cleanse data to meet business and technical requirements

• Load data into target systems such as data warehouses, data lakes, or cloud platforms

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks during and after migration

• Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability

• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders

• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues during migration cycles

• Document ETL processes, data mappings, and migration procedures

• Support post-migration activities and production data loads

Requirements 

• Strong experience in ETL development and data migration projects

• Proficiency in Pyspark

• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, 

PostgreSQL)

• Experience working with large datasets and complex data transformations

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling

• Familiarity with data quality, data governance, and validation techniques

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)

• Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)

• Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, or similar languages

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments

• Prior experience in legacy system modernization or platform migration projects
