JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI Dashboards, Jasper Reports, and data models to support business analysis and decision-making.
- Build intuitive dashboards, KPIs, and analytical reports following data storytelling principles.
- Develop SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, and data transformation logic to support BI solutions.
- Design and optimize Data Models (Star Schema/Snowflake Schema) to ensure reporting system performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with Business Users to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into BI/Reporting Specifications.
- Perform data analysis, trend analysis, and statistical assessments to provide valuable business insights.
- Build and maintain BI Governance, including report formats, metadata, version control, access control, and data quality standards.
- Administer Power BI Service, datasets, gateways, refresh schedules, and workspace permissions.
- Manage Jasper Server, including repository management, scheduling, deployment, and access control.
- Visualize data and present insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot Power BI/Jasper issues and optimize SQL queries, data models, and report performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BI Development, Data Analytics, or Reporting.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions using Power BI and/or Jasper Reports.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, data modeling, and transformation logic.
- Experience with:
- Power BI Desktop
- DAX
- Power Query (M)
- Relational Data Modeling
- Strong expertise in JasperReports/JasperServer, including templates, datasets, and parameters.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data flows, and pipeline management.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and apply quantitative methods to generate business insights.
- Strong skills in Data Visualization, Dashboard Design, KPI Frameworks, and Data Storytelling.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with JasperReports/JasperServer.
- Experience building and optimizing large-scale BI/Reporting systems.
- Ability to work independently with Business Users to analyze requirements and propose appropriate BI solutions.
- Strong understanding of data quality, BI governance, and reporting performance.
