[Onsite] Backend Java Engineer - Banking Platform

About the Project

We are looking for a Backend Java Engineer to join a banking technology project, working on enterprise applications and backend services that support financial and banking operations.

You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to build reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture.

📍 Location: Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Work with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.

• Implement business logic and ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Perform API testing and troubleshooting using tools such as Postman.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and technical problem-solving.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.

• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or similar.

• Proficiency with Git and Agile/Scrum development practices.

• Experience using Postman or other API testing tools.

• Good understanding of software development principles and debugging techniques.

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• Experience in banking, finance, or other enterprise systems is a strong plus.

• Commitment to information security, data confidentiality, and compliance with ISO 27001-aligned policies and procedures.
