The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary HSE Specialist to support our health, safety, and environmental initiatives at HITACHI ENERGY VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED. This role will assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and company policies, contributing to a safe and sustainable working environment.
How you will make an impact:
Assist in implementing and maintaining the company's Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management system.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Support incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Coordinate and deliver HSE awareness programs, training sessions, and safety inductions for employees.
Monitor, analyze, and report HSE performance metrics, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, permits, and compliance reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support emergency preparedness, response activities, and compliance with applicable HSE regulations and industry best practices.

Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of HSE experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese HSE regulations and international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Fluent in Vietnamese with a good command of English; HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH or OSHA) are an advantage.
