Responsible for deploying, operating, maintaining, and securing enterprise IT infrastructure, including Linux/Windows systems, network security, monitoring, security compliance and AI.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Security, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Deploy, operate, maintain, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux/Windows servers and infrastructure services.
Configure and manage firewalls, routing, VPN, NAT, IPS/IDS, Web Filtering, and network security policies.
Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security events.
Troubleshoot system/network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Perform infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security improvements.
Support security incident response, risk assessment, security review, and remediation activities.
Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
Support basic Oracle/MySQL database operations, including monitoring, backup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and implementation documents.
Support compliance activities related to ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS, and other applicable standards.
Work with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and project stakeholders.
Apply AI-assisted engineering tools to improve troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and operational efficiency.

Infrastructure & Operating Systems
Strong Linux administration knowledge: Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Rocky Linux, or equivalent.
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File Services.
Network & Security
Hands-on experience with at least one firewall platform: Sophos Firewall, FortiGate, pfSense, or OPNsense.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching, VPN, NAT, DNS, IPS/IDS, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with firewall policies, network segmentation, system hardening, and access control.
Understanding of security principles, identity management, least privilege, and Zero Trust concepts.
Monitoring & Security Operations
Experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG, WhatsUp Gold, Zabbix, Grafana, or equivalent.
Basic understanding of SIEM/SOC, security monitoring, threat detection, and log analysis.
Other Technical Knowledge
Basic Oracle/MySQL database administration.
Familiarity with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox, SAN/NAS, backup, DR, and HA is preferred.
Basic scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python; Ansible experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of IAM, MFA, SSO, and RBAC.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container security is preferred.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001, PCI-DSS, vulnerability management, and security auditing.
AI & Modern Engineering Tools
Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent.
Experience with AI agent platforms such as Hermes, Claude Code, or similar is an advantage.
Certifications (Preferred)
CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
MCSA / Microsoft Certified or equivalent Windows Server certification.
LPI Level 1 (LPIC-1) or RHCSA
Security+, CEH, ISO/IEC 27001, or equivalent security certifications.
Oracle certification is a plus.
