Solid understanding of core accounting principles: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), journal entries, and financial reconciliation.
Experience developing or customizing ERP Accounting modules — including chart of accounts, multi-currency, tax handling (VAT/WHT), and period-end closing.
Familiarity with accounting workflows: purchase-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), and financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Understanding of data integrity requirements in financial systems: audit trails, double-entry bookkeeping, and transactional consistency.
Experience with ERP platforms with strong accounting capabilities: Odoo Accounting, SAP FI, Microsoft D365 Finance, or ERPNext is a strong plus.
ERP Domain Knowledge (General)
Understanding of at least one additional ERP domain: SCM, Manufacturing, HRM, or Logistics.
Experience integrating ERP systems with third-party platforms (payment gateway, banking APIs, tax systems, marketplace, 3PL).
Familiarity with core ERP concepts: Master Data, BOM, MRP, Inventory valuation, Order lifecycle.
