At SoftwareOne, we help organizations modernize, migrate, and optimize their cloud environments to achieve measurable business outcomes. We are looking for an AWS Solutions Architect to join our Cloud Services team, combining technical presales, solution architecture, and delivery leadership to help customers accelerate their cloud transformation journeys.

As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will work closely with customers, sales teams, and delivery specialists to design and implement secure, scalable, and modern AWS solutions. You'll support customers from initial discovery and solution design through implementation and adoption, helping them maximize the value of their cloud investments while delivering successful business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Partnering with customers and sales teams to understand business objectives and design tailored AWS solutions aligned with customer goals.
• Leading cloud transformation initiatives including infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, hybrid cloud adoption, and cloud optimization programs.
• Designing secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures based on AWS best practices and governance principles.
• Facilitating customer workshops, technical discussions, demonstrations, proposal responses, and solution design engagements.
• Providing architectural guidance throughout project delivery to ensure successful implementation, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
• Sharing cloud expertise with customers and internal teams while supporting innovation, capability development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions, including migration and modernization initiatives.
• Deep understanding of AWS architecture, cloud security, networking, and governance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation) and automation practices.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are highly valued.

Strong experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions, including migration and modernization initiatives.

Deep understanding of AWS architecture, cloud security, networking, and governance best practices.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation) and automation practices.

Knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are highly valued.

Nice to Have

Experience with Amazon Connect solutions.

Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and enterprise infrastructure platforms.

Knowledge of scripting and automation technologies such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Experience with monitoring, observability, and configuration management tools. 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications: AWS Associate and/or Professional level certifications are preferred.
