THE OPPORTUNITY
HR Department at VinUniversity is looking for an entrepreneurial-minded and high-potential Senior HR Specialist (OD, Talent Management) who is passionate about HR careers in a fast-changing international higher education environment.
The Senior HR Specialist reports to the Human Resources Manager and serves as the specialist responsible for driving Organizational Development and Talent Management initiatives. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing performance management systems, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, identifying high-potential talent, and executing organizational design strategies. Beyond OD and TM, this role is designed for a dynamic professional who is highly motivated, eager to learn, and willing to support broader HR operations and cross-functional team initiatives.
Working closely with the HR leadership, the ideal candidate will champion educational and developmental models focused on a growth mindset and human-centric development, ensuring that our faculty and staff are empowered to reach their full potential while delivering high-quality, customer-focused HR services to the University.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Talent Management & Development
- Design and execute comprehensive talent management programs, including succession planning, career pathing, and high-potential talent identification.
- Develop and implement training and development frameworks that promote a growth mindset and a culture of continuous learning across the university.
- Partner with department heads to create individualized development plans that prioritize human-centric development and career progression.
Organizational Development (OD)
- Drive organizational design initiatives and change management strategies to support the university‘s rapid growth and strategic goals.
- Coordinate the performance management cycle, ensuring it aligns with core values and encourages constructive feedback and employee growth.
- Conduct employee engagement pulse surveys, analyze workforce data, and propose actionable OD interventions to improve workplace culture and organizational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional HR Support
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn by taking on diverse responsibilities across the HR department, including support for employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding when needed.
- Support HR operational excellence by standardizing processes, maintaining HR documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Support employee appreciation, cultural activities, and well-being programs.
- Perform other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Human Resource Management, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- 02–04 years of HR experience with a focus on Organizational Development, Learning & Development, or Talent Management in a sophisticated, diverse working environment.
- Demonstrated high potential and a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges across various HR functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Passionate about fostering a developmental culture, with a strong understanding of modern, human-centric approaches to employee growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable HR strategies.
