Role Overview

Own the architecture of services, APIs, and system-to-system integrations across the platform. Focus on scalable service design, clean interfaces, and consistent technology stack, scalable and extendable for the new agentic workflow. 

Key Responsibilities

• Architect microservices and RESTful/gRPC APIs
• Design inter-service communication (sync/async, messaging)
• Define standards for:
  • API contracts, versioning
  • Data schemas and exchange
  • Service boundaries
• Design system-to-system integrations (internal + external)
• Drive technology stack decisions across backend systems
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Produce architecture diagrams and blueprints
• Review implementations for architectural consistency

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend and distributed system architecture but fullstack is preferable. 
• Proven design of:
  • Microservices
  • RESTful APIs / service contracts
  • Distributed systems
• Solid fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, applied to:
  • Caching (e.g., LRU)
  • Data partitioning / sharding
  • Efficient data access patterns
• Deep understanding of:
  • Service communication (HTTP, gRPC, messaging)
  • Concurrency and system performance
• Ability to simplify complex systems into clear designs
