As an SAP FICO Senior Consultant at Hitachi, Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules for our diverse range of clients and internal projects. You will leverage your expertise to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
Responsibilities:**
* Lead and participate in full lifecycle SAP FICO implementation projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live support.
* Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications for SAP FICO solutions.
* Configure SAP FI modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, New GL) and CO modules (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA).
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Provide expert-level support for existing SAP FICO landscapes, troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing timely resolutions.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical developers, business analysts, and project managers.
* Train end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices, developing user manuals and documentation as needed.
* Stay abreast of new SAP FICO functionalities, industry trends, and best practices, recommending continuous improvements.
* Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and effort estimations, as required.
* Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation and support roles.
* Proven expertise in configuring and customizing core SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, New GL) and CO modules (CCA, PCA, IO, PC, CO-PA).
* Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, managerial accounting concepts, and business processes.
* Experience with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations.
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical SAP solutions.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* SAP FICO certification(s) are highly desirable.
* Experience with S/4HANA Finance is a significant advantage.
* Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
