Overview
The Senior HR Specialist drives internal HR governance and HR system modernization. This role focuses on establishing a compliant, low-risk policy framework through official labor regulation filings while partnering with the Head of Business Operations to execute a seamless HR tech migration with high data integrity.
Responsibilities:
1. HR Governance, Labor Compliance & Employee Relations (40%)
- Policy & Legal Registration: Draft, update, and officially register mandatory documents with authorities to guarantee 100% legal compliance.
- Risk Management & Audit: Audit employment contracts and internal policies to ensure alignment with Vietnamese Labor Law and mitigate legal exposure.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters to foster a fair workplace environment.
2. HR System Modernization & Data Privacy (30%)
- System Migration: Co-lead HR tech platform transitions with the Head of Business Operations to improve operational efficiency.
- Data Integrity & Governance: Enforce data privacy standards and direct data clean-up projects to maintain 98%+ data accuracy.
- Process Automation: Streamline core HR workflows into the new system to enable employee self-service and reduce manual processing time by 30%.
3. Core C&B & HR Operations (25%)
- Payroll & Benefits: Direct monthly payroll execution, mandatory social insurance, leave tracking, and benefit programs with zero-error precision.
- Performance & Grading: Facilitate KPI/OKR evaluation cycles and manage complex compensation structures.
- HR Analytics: Deliver headcount, turnover, and salary analytics to support executive decision-making.
4. Operational Support (5%)
- Collaborate on cross-departmental initiatives and provide general operational support.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years in HR (C&B, ER, or HR Generalist roles). Talent Acquisition (TA) experience is a plus. Minimum 2 years in a Senior or Lead Specialist capacity.
- Labor Law & Compliance: Expert knowledge of Vietnamese Labor Law, Social Insurance regulations, and payroll compliance.
- HR Expertise: Proven track record in executing complex HR processes, designing compensation/salary structures, and managing KPI/OKR frameworks.
- Languages: English fluency (written and spoken) for policy drafting and stakeholder communication.
