About the Role
Everfit is looking for a Data Scientist to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will use advanced statistical, machine learning, and data analysis techniques to help improve the Everfit platform, offering insights into trainer performance, client engagement, and fitness program effectiveness. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that drive business strategy and enhance the user experience.
Responsibilities
- User & Trainer Insights: Analyze data to uncover patterns in user behavior and trainer effectiveness, providing actionable insights to enhance both client and trainer experience.
- Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Develop and implement machine learning models to predict client behavior, engagement, and retention, improving overall platform performance.
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Build dynamic dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to key stakeholders, ensuring insights are easily accessible and actionable.
- Collaboration & Product Optimization: Work with product, engineering, and marketing teams to integrate data science solutions into the Everfit platform, helping shape new features and refine user experience.
- Experimentation: Conduct A/B testing and experiments to optimize the platform’s features, user onboarding, and engagement strategies.
- Data Integrity & Quality: Ensure that data pipelines are clean, accurate, and processed efficiently to support reliable decision-making and model building.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Scikit-learn).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and Fivetran, Databricks, Hightouch
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data modeling, and statistical techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build scalable, data-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good English proficiency
Preferred Skills
- Experience with fitness or wellness-related platforms, particularly in personal training or health technology.
- Familiarity with time-series analysis, recommendation systems, and natural language processing (NLP) for client communication insights.
