Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the Power Management Unit (PMU) for humanoid robotic systems
- Design DC/DC converters, power distribution systems, soft-start/pre-charge circuits, and power protection mechanisms
- Perform power analysis, including power budget calculations, peak current estimation, power loss evaluation, thermal analysis, and efficiency optimization
- Select and design power components, including MOSFETs, gate drivers, power management ICs, inductors, capacitors, and current sensors
- Design and optimize high-current and power PCBs, ensuring thermal performance, EMI/EMC compliance, and long-term reliability
- Conduct hardware bring-up, testing, measurement, and validation of power electronics circuits
- Debug, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis of power-related issues in robotic systems
- Support hardware repair, component replacement, and continuous improvement during prototype testing and system operation
- Collaborate closely with Motor Control, Battery/BMS, Firmware, and System Engineering teams to develop and optimize the robot's power architecture
- Simulate, analyze, and optimize power circuits using LTspice, PSpice, SIMPLIS, or equivalent simulation tools
- Contribute to the development of robust and scalable power solutions for advanced robotic platforms.
Relevant education and experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic hardware design; experience designing embedded computing platforms or SoC carrier boards is highly preferred.

Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design using Altium Designer.

Strong knowledge of:
- High-speed PCB design
- Differential pair routing
- Controlled impedance design
- Length matching
- Signal Integrity (SI)
- Power Integrity (PI)
- PCB stack-up design and grounding strategies

Hands-on experience designing and debugging high-speed interfaces, including:
- PCIe Gen3/Gen4
- USB 3.x
- MIPI CSI/DSI
- Gigabit Ethernet
- HDMI, DisplayPort, or equivalent interfaces

Experience designing DC/DC power supplies and power tree architectures for embedded systems.

Proficient in using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and electronic test equipment for board-level debugging and validation.

Strong ability to read and interpret datasheets, reference designs, application notes, and hardware design guidelines.

Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulation tools such as HyperLynx, Sigrity, ADS, or equivalent.

Experience using VNA (Vector Network Analyzer) and TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer) for transmission line characterization and impedance verification.

Experience with Linux embedded system bring-up and collaboration on BSP/device tree configuration is preferred.

Solid understanding of EMC/EMI principles and experience designing hardware that meets industrial compliance requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
