About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the Payment squad and help drive the execution of Everfit's billing and monetization products.
You'll report to and work closely with a Senior Product Manager based in the US, who owns the overall Payments strategy and roadmap. Your role is to be the execution engine on the ground in Vietnam — owning specific feature areas end-to-end, driving the local engineering and design team, and keeping delivery moving with speed and quality. You'll communicate daily with the US Senior PM to align on priorities, scope, and trade-offs.
This is a role for someone who wants to grow into a strong product operator — who gets energy from shipping, loves digging into user problems, and takes pride in building systems that just work. You don't need to have shipped a payments product before, but you should be comfortable working with complexity: edge cases, compliance nuances, and flows where the user experience has to be both simple and trustworthy.
Responsibilities
Roadmap Execution & Delivery
- Partner with the Senior PM to translate the Payments roadmap into actionable delivery: PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
- Own feature areas end-to-end — from discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration.
- Drive the weekly delivery cadence with the Vietnam-based engineering and design team, ensuring clarity, momentum, and quality.
- Manage scope trade-offs and surface blockers early — never let the team be surprised.
Customer & Data-Driven Thinking
- Run regular research with coaches, gym owners, and admins to understand payment workflows, friction points, and edge cases.
- Monitor the payments funnel: activation, checkout conversion, subscription retention, payment success rate, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Use data to identify where to iterate and design experiments to validate improvements.
- Turn support tickets and customer feedback into structured product insights and backlog items.
Operational Excellence
- Improve internal workflows for support and finance operations: refunds, disputes, invoicing, and plan changes.
- Collaborate with the US-based Senior PM to align priorities and communicate progress across time zones.
- Contribute to pricing/packaging decisions and coordinate clear rollout communication with stakeholders.
✦ SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 3–6 MONTHS)
- Deliver measurable improvements to the Payments funnel — checkout conversion or payment success rate.
- Reduce operational burden: fewer support tickets, fewer manual billing actions, fewer payment failures.
- Ship at a consistent weekly pace with high-quality specs and strong cross-functional alignment.
- Establish reliable tracking and dashboards for the payments and subscription lifecycle.
- Build a working relationship with the US Senior PM and become the execution anchor for the Vietnam team.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 2–4 years of product management experience in SaaS, software, or consumer subscription products.
- Proven ability to ship features end-to-end: discovery → definition → delivery → iteration.
- Strong product instincts and UX judgment — you care about clear flows, minimal friction, and great defaults.
- Comfortable working with data to make decisions: funnels, cohorts, event tracking, A/B testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English — able to write clear specs, align stakeholders asynchronously, and collaborate daily with a US-based Senior PM across time zones.
- Organized and execution-driven: you manage your own work, hit commitments, and close the loop.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with payments, subscriptions, or billing concepts — checkout, retries, dunning, proration, refunds, chargebacks.
- Background in tools for small businesses, CRM, or workflow automation.
- Curiosity about AI-assisted workflows and how AI can improve product and business operations.
- Passion for fitness, coaching, or creator/instructor-led business models.
