We seek a highly skilled (Senior) Python Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in understanding, designing, and implementing Thought Machine smart contracts, focusing on Core banking processes. While prior knowledge of Core banking and Thought Machine is considered valuable, it is recognized as a "nice\-to\-have" qualification.
**Job Description**
- Design, develop, and maintain
**robust, scalable, and secure Core Banking systems**
using Python and Smart Contract technologies.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Integration, and Frontend teams to deliver new features for the digital banking platform.
- Write clean, efficient, and well\-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in system architecture discussions, proposing technical solutions and contributing to overall system design.
- Develop and maintain
**unit, integration, and end\-to\-end tests**
to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Mentor and support junior backend engineers in their technical growth.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, especially in
**FinTech, Core Banking, and Smart Contracts**

**Requirements**
**Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field**
.
- **5–7 years of experience**
in backend development with strong focus on Python.
**FinTech or Banking domain**
is highly preferred.
**Technical Skills**
**OOP, design patterns, and data structures**

- Proficient in Python and frameworks such as
**FastAPI, Django, Pytest**

**relational databases**
(e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), including query optimization and schema design.
- Experience designing and consuming
**RESTful APIs**
