With respect to all your personal data shared to VinFast in the application and the entire recruitment process of VinFast, by clicking “Apply”, submitting your resumé/CV and/or participating in VinFast's recruitment process, you agree that you have read VinFast's Personal Data Protection Policy ("Policy") posted at https://vinfastauto.com/vn_vi/dieu-khoan-phap-ly or https://vinfast.vn/privacy-policy/, you agree to the Policy and consent for VinFast to process your personal data in accordance with the Policy and the applicable regulations on personal data protection Requirements - Initiate the strategies for Purchasing activities at VinFast together with HOD and BOD - Directly involve in developing, building up strong partnership with strategic partners/key suppliers both domestically and internationally - Develop and maintain a high-performance culture in the assigned team - Take the lead in addressing any emergency resourcing, production expediting, or additional actions needed to reduce or eliminate the risk of plant line stoppages situation - Identify vendor opportunities/challenges and partner with program management, the engineering team or plant production control and logistics to achieve appropriate resolution - Ensure performance improvement and recovery plans are developed, issued, tracked and reported on - Understand commodity part manufacturing and component cost elements and be able to work with suppliers to further cost down efforts - Negotiate contractual terms regarding cost, delivery, quality, transportation, and other standard or special contract terms - Maintain purchase price and raw material price trends and analysis - Balance current and future demand requirements with supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of requirements - Comply with established corporate and purchasing policy and processes - Maintains purchase order files (i.e. quotes, blanket orders, warrants, prints, design changes, etc.) to support of the company’s quality system requirements - Performs other duties as necessary. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent Supply Chain Management experience - At least 10 years of purchasing experience, ideally in the Automotive or Manufacturing industries - Must display ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and negotiate and execute contingency plans - Communicates directly with management and cross-functional leaders as required - Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and motivate others - Inquisitive, detail-oriented with strong quantitative analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem solving - Strong written communication and presentation skills required - Excellent MS Office (Excel, MSQuery, Access, PowerPoint) capabilities required - Experience in SAP/ERP required - Good command of English (4 skills) Benefits
