Key Responsibilities 

Testing 

• Review and analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to create detailed test conditions and test cases. 
• Execute manual and automated tests while also performing regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing across a product or products. 
• Primarily hands-on functional testing, with opportunities to expand into automation and modern quality engineering practices.  
• Log, track, priorities, and re-test defects, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution. 
• Prepare and maintain test data and test environments. 
• Validate API responses and data flows through manual checks (where applicable). 
• Document test results and maintain traceability to requirements and defects. 
• Contribute to the evolution of our quality engineering practices, including exploring modern tools and emerging technologies such as AI-assisted testing to improve efficiency and coverage over time. 

Collaboration & Quality Practices 

• You will have a lot of internal contacts, so strong communication skills are important. Work with key stakeholders such as developers, the Product Owner and the Technical Architect to clarify requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos and retrospectives. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, documentation standards, and team practices. 
• Support the wider team by sharing knowledge, raising risks early, and promoting quality‑first thinking. 

Skills & Experience 

Essential Technical Skills 

• Strong testing experience across functional and regression cycles. 
• Ability to create high-quality test cases, test scenarios, and user‑journey‑based tests. 
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps). 
• Good understanding of software development and Agile methodologies. 
• Basic SQL skills for validating data and supporting test preparation. 

Desirable Skills 

• Understanding of API structures and HTTP methods for manual verification. 
• Experience working within CI/CD‑driven Agile teams. 
• Familiarity with cloud‑based environments (AWS/Azure). 
• Wider experience in automation, performance or security testing. 
• ISTQB Certificates in any of the following: Foundation, Agile Testing, Performance Testing, Usability Testing, Mobile Testing, Acceptance Testing. 
• Experience with Accessibility Testing (WCAG).
  

Non‑Technical Skills 

• Strong attention to detail and structured approach to problem‑solving. 
• Clear written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional and multi‑location teams. 
• Proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills. 

Experience Level 

• 5+ years experience in software testing, with a primary focus on manual testing.
