As a Test Lead within the CIS-HU team, you'll provide testing leadership across the software delivery lifecycle, helping teams embed quality into every stage of development while delivering clear, evidence-based insights into product quality and release readiness.

What You'll Do

Lead and Develop the Team

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-3 Test Engineers, supporting both performance and career growth. 
• Set clear expectations, align priorities, and build testing capability through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and onboarding initiatives. 
• Support recruitment, training, and continuous improvement activities across the testing function. 

 

Drive Quality and Test Delivery

• Define and oversee testing approaches that align with delivery objectives, test strategy, and release commitments. 
• Ensure effective test planning, test design, execution, reporting, and quality assurance activities. 
• Lead both manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring reliable test evidence and comprehensive coverage. 
• Manage testing scope, resources, dependencies, and estimates to support successful delivery outcomes. 

 

Manage Risk and Support Releases

• Identify, assess, and communicate quality risks, testing risks, defects, and dependencies early.
• Provide evidence-based quality assessments and recommendations to support release readiness decisions. 
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, stakeholders, and customers to ensure successful delivery outcomes. 

 

Champion Automation and Continuous Improvement

• Promote automation and modern testing practices that improve quality, efficiency, and confidence in delivery. 
• Support the adoption of AI-assisted testing approaches and quality engineering best practices. 
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, standards, and team capability.
