As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you’ll bring hardware to life through Zephyr-based firmware, device drivers, and board support packages across automotive and non-automotive MCU/SoC platforms. Advance your expertise in embedded firmware and driver development while solving real hardware challenges and collaborating with upstream community maintainers.

**2. JOB DESCRIPTION**

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & CONTRIBUTE

• Develop & Maintain Embedded Firmware

Develop, port and maintain embedded firmware, Board Support Packages (BSPs), and hardware abstraction layers for automotive and non-automotive MCU/SoC platforms.

• Design & Integrate Device Drivers

Design, implement and integrate drivers for CAN, Flash, SDHC, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, and other peripherals, following the Zephyr driver model and DeviceTree specifications.

• Provide Firmware Development & Technical Support

Develop firmware and provide technical support for customer target hardware.

Address feedback from upstream community maintainers and the developers responsible for maintaining the original open-source project.

• Collaborate Across the Development Lifecycle

Work with cross-functional teams throughout the full development lifecycle.

**3. REQUIREMENTS**

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills with a focus on embedded software development.
• Proven experience developing firmware and writing hardware drivers and low-level peripheral code.
• Hands-on experience with Zephyr RTOS device driver development, including working knowledge of the Zephyr build and configuration toolchain: West, CMake, Kconfig, and DeviceTree.
• Comfortable using hardware debug tools - JTAG/SWD debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes - to diagnose register-level and hardware-level faults.
• Advanced Git proficiency with experience in open-source contribution workflows: branching strategies, rebasing, and structured code reviews via GitHub or GitLab.
