- Design, develop, and operate backend services supporting Crawler systems, NLP, data pipelines, and ML products (demographic prediction, content recommendation, and content interest prediction).
- Build event-driven / microservices architectures, including message queues, workers, retry mechanisms, and dead-letter queues, for large-scale data collection and processing systems.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries across SQL Server, ClickHouse, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Develop APIs for Báo Mới applications, websites, and internal APIs (CMS, dashboards, downstream systems), as well as integrations with other teams such as Advertising, Editorial, and Business.
- Participate in system design and code reviews, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Develop internal admin interfaces and dashboards to support system operations, monitoring, and performance tracking.
- 2–4+ years of experience as a Backend or Fullstack Engineer.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Java, Python, Node.js, Go, etc.), with Java preferred.
- Hands-on experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) and asynchronous systems.
- Solid understanding of relational database design (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
- Experience designing and developing distributed, high-throughput systems is a strong plus.
- For Fullstack candidates: Experience with React, Vue, or equivalent frontend frameworks.
- Strong system thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Candidates with experience working with large-scale data, crawler systems, or content/news-related products are preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience using AI tools.
- Experience with ClickHouse or analytical databases (OLAP).
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
- Basic understanding of ML pipelines (deep ML expertise is not required).
