Data Scientist (Machine Learning / MLOps / AutoML)
Job overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy machine learning models
that solve real business problems across Vingroup's ecosystem. You will own the full ML lifecycle –
from experimentation to production – leveraging strong MLOps and AutoML practices, and AWS
SageMaker Unified to build model\-serving systems that scale to enterprise\-level traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve enterprise\-scale business
problems across Vingroup's ecosystem.
- Build and maintain MLOps pipelines and AutoML workflows to streamline model training,
evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design and implement model\-serving architectures capable of handling high\-throughput, lowlatency production workloads.
- Leverage AWS SageMaker Unified (or equivalent cloud ML platforms) to build end\-to\-end
ML pipelines – from data preparation and training to tuning, deployment, and monitoring.
- Partner with data engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate business
problems into ML solutions.
- Monitor and continuously improve model performance in production, including drift
detection and retraining strategies.
- Document technical designs, experiment results, and best practices, and contribute to the
team's technical standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer.
- Solid foundation in algorithms, statistics, and machine learning theory.
- Hands\-on experience deploying ML models to production, with strong MLOps and AutoML
experience.
- Proficient in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., scikit\-learn, XGBoost,
PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Practical experience with AWS SageMaker Unified (or an equivalent cloud ML platform),
able to design ML systems that serve large\-scale traffic.
- Experience in finance, Customer 360, root\-cause analysis (RCA), or recommendation systems
is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem\-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
