VinSmart Future is seeking a
**Senior Director, Privacy \& Compliance**
to lead the company’s governance and compliance strategy across data, privacy, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
This role sits at the intersection of
**technology, regulation and business**
, ensuring that regulatory requirements are embedded into products, platforms and technology operations from the design stage.
**Key Responsibilities**
Data, Privacy \& Technology Compliance
- Define and lead the enterprise strategy for data, privacy, AI and technology compliance.
- Establish governance frameworks, policies, standards and controls for the collection, processing, storage, sharing and use of data.
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical requirements for Product, Engineering, Data and AI teams.
- Embed
**Privacy by Design**
and compliance\-by\-design principles into products, platforms and technology architecture.
AI Governance \& Responsible AI
- Establish and continuously evolve the company’s
**AI Governance and Responsible AI framework**
.
- Define standards and controls covering AI model development, deployment, monitoring and ongoing governance.
- Oversee key areas including: Data and model governance, Privacy and responsible data use, AI safety and accountability, Transparency and explainability, Model and regulatory risk
Technology Governance \& Risk
- Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams to embed compliance requirements into technology systems and platforms.
- Review strategic technology initiatives from a compliance, privacy and governance perspective.
Regulatory Readiness
- Monitor global developments in privacy, data protection, AI, cybersecurity and technology regulation.
- Assess regulatory impact on the company’s products, platforms and technology strategy.
- Support regulatory reviews, assessments, audits and inquiries where required.
**Candidate Requirements**
- 12\+ years of relevant experience across
**Privacy, Data Protection, Data Governance, AI Governance, Technology Compliance, Technology Risk**
or related areas.
- Significant leadership experience within a large technology company, global digital platform, fintech or similarly complex organization.
- Proven experience building or scaling enterprise\-level privacy, compliance or governance programs.
- Strong knowledge of global privacy and data protection regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Product, Engineering, Data, Cybersecurity and/or AI organizations.
- Strong understanding of emerging
**AI governance, Responsible AI and technology regulation**
.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical technology controls and operating standards.
- Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions and managing regulatory complexity at scale.
