Unity Developer (WebGL)
Position: Unity Developer (WebGL)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a Unity WebGL application for desktop and mobile browsers.
- Build interactive 3D features such as:
- Camera navigation
- Object selection and highlighting
- Measurement tools
- Section view / clipping
- Timeline playback
- Annotation and markup
- Material and object visibility control
- Optimize WebGL performance, loading time, and memory usage.
- Implement Addressables or asset streaming solutions for large 3D projects.
- Integrate REST APIs with backend services.
- Work with cloud storage (AWS S3 or similar) for asset delivery.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers.
- Debug and resolve browser-specific issues across Chrome, Edge, Safari, and mobile devices.
- Maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code.

Required Skills
- 2+ years of Unity development experience.
- Strong knowledge of C#.
- Experience building and deploying Unity WebGL applications.
- Understanding of Unity rendering pipeline and performance optimization.
- Experience with:
- Addressables
- Asset Bundles
- UI Toolkit or Unity UI
- Physics and raycasting
- Animation and Timeline
- Familiar with REST APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Ability to profile and optimize CPU, GPU, and memory usage.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Three.js or other WebGL-based JavaScript 3D frameworks.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for WebGL integration.
- Experience with Unity WebGL plugins (.jslib) and browser APIs.
- Experience working with BIM, IFC, Revit, or Navisworks models.
- Familiarity with AWS services (S3, CloudFront, EC2).
- Experience optimizing large-scale 3D scenes for web browsers.
- Knowledge of glTF/GLB formats and 3D asset pipelines.
- Experience building construction, digital twin, or engineering visualization applications.
- Familiarity with collaborative or multi-user web applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
