Partner with sales teams to drive enterprise deal wins by leading client discovery, designing high-availability (HA) and disaster-recovery (DR) AWS architectures, building Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and crafting cloud migration strategies.

1. Customer Engagement:
   • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to understand customer business needs, challenges, and goals.
   • Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and presentations to position tailored solutions
2. Solution Design:
   • Design robust, scalable architectures that incorporate high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and security best practices.
   • Build solutions for application and data migration to AWS , focusing on best practices
   • Create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and prototypes to demonstrate technical feasibility.
3. Technical Leadership:
   • Provide expert guidance on designing cloud environments, ensuring HA through multi-AZ and multi-region deployments, and security
   • Optimize for cost, scalability, and performance with tools like Auto Scaling, Spot Instances, and Savings Plans.
4. Security & Compliance:
   • Advise on network security (e.g., VPC design, NACLs, WAF), data encryption (at rest and in transit), and identity management (IAM, SSO).
   • Ensure solutions comply with customer-specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
5. Pre-Sales Collaboration:
   • Partner with sales to develop technical strategies for winning new business.
   • Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and technical proposals by articulating the technical value proposition.
   • Work with engineering teams to define solution roadmaps and customer deliverables.
6. Migration Expertise:
   • Lead migration planning for enterprise workloads (e.g., databases, applications, enterprise systems like SAP, CRM, …).
   • Assess on-premises environments, perform readiness assessments, and create detailed migration blueprints.
   • Collaborate with migration teams to ensure smooth execution with minimal disruption.
7. Training and Enablement:
   • Conduct customer and partner training sessions to showcase best practices in cloud migration, HA/DR strategies, and security.
   • Enable internal teams on solution design principles and the value of new technologies.

Key Relationships

Qualifications and Experience

Memberships

• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional required); Security credentials (CISSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty) are a plus.

• Core Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM), migration tools (AWS DMS, DRS), and high-availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) frameworks.

• Security & Compliance: Proficiency in VPC network design, NACLs, WAF, encryption (at rest and in transit), and regulatory compliance frameworks.

• Preferred Skills: FinOps (cost optimization), monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace), Kubernetes/containers, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting.

• Proven track record of designing, architecting, and executing enterprise application/data migrations to AWS (e.g., SAP, CRM, databases).

• Demonstrated experience leading technical discovery workshops, building PoCs, and writing responses for RFPs/RFQs.
