Analyze, design, create, and execute automated test cases for back end microservices.
Create functional testing in automated tests, including unit testing, API testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, regression tests, etc.
Perform manual testing if proper and carry out non-functional testing.
Collaborate with developers, BAs, and scrum teams to ensure thorough understanding and coverage of testing requirements.
Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers and team to resolve issues.
Code review and educate developers to create good automated tests.
Create test frameworks and tools and coach Software Engineers to use them to do proper testing.
Collaborate closely as part of the development team by providing a client viewpoint.
Actively participate in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies, providing insights into quality and testing progress.
Research new technologies available and its proper application; make suggestions/contributions for the improvement of software testing/quality/delivery.
Who We're Looking For
Must have:
At least 04 years of experience in software testing or related positions.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
Strong hands-on experience in unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, API testing, and database testing, testing framework or tools.
Solid experience with SQL databases and the ability to write and execute SQL scripts.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in Agile environments.
Strong English communication skills, with the ability to confidently discuss, analyze, and communicate technical issues to work effectively in a team.
A confident and dynamic attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
A willingness to learn, adapt, and adopt new technologies or new ways of working is a significant advantage coach Software Engineers to do proper testing.
Knowledge or hands-on experience in applying AI tools and AI-assisted techniques to software testing, such as AI-assisted test case generation, test automation, test data generation, defect analysis, or improving testing efficiency.
Nice to have:
Experience with understanding complicated software systems, microservice architecture, monolith code.
Experience with event driven architecture such as Kafka, service bus.
Experience with Non-functional testing such as Performance testing, Resilience testing, Security testing.
Experience with APM tools such as Datadog.
Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps.
Can understand C# code and discuss with developers the issues in C# code.
