JOB PURPOSE
As a Solution Architect, you will serve as the technical bridge between business strategy and engineering execution. You will be responsible for designing robust, scalable, and secure end-to-end technical solutions for complex systems across One Mount's ecosystem.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Agile Teams to translate business requirements into concrete architectural designs, drive cloud/AI adoption, and ensure solutions align with governance standards while maintaining high engineering velocity.
1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Solution Design & Technical Architecture
End-to-End Solution Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure technical solution designs (HLD/LLD) covering cloud infrastructure, application logic, data flow, and API integrations.
- Modern Technology Stack & AI Integration: Design solution patterns incorporating microservices, event-driven architecture, and cutting-edge AI stack (LLMs, Vector Search, RAG, LangChain/LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock/Vertex AI) to power intelligent business features.
- Reference Architecture & Best Practices: Define and promote reusable solution patterns, integration blueprints, and API strategies (REST, gRPC, Kafka) for engineering teams.
Architecture Governance & Agile Support
- Architectural Guidance: Provide daily hands-on technical guidance to multiple Agile/Scrum teams; assist in resolving complex technical bottlenecks and managing technical debt.
- Architecture Review Board (ARB): Present solution designs to ARB and key stakeholders (Security, Data, Infrastructure) for sign-off, ensuring alignment with enterprise guardrails without compromising agile speed.
- System Integrity & Quality: Define performance, availability, and scalability metrics; oversee system integration testing and production readiness to ensure high reliability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Security Alignment
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Security, Data, and Legal teams to ensure solution designs comply with enterprise security standards, data privacy laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Engineering Community & Guilds: Contribute to cross-functional engineering guilds and technical communities of practice to elevate technical capability across the organization.
2. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Background & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT/Software Development, with at least 3+ years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Systems Architect role.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, high-traffic, and distributed cloud applications in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Technical & Architectural Mastery
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, and API Gateways.
- Data & Integration Patterns: Strong knowledge of modern data architecture (ELT/ETL, Event Streams with Kafka, Relational & NoSQL Databases) and integration protocols (REST, gRPC, Boomi).
- AI & Modern Tech Stack: Hands-on familiarity with Python, model fine-tuning, Vector Search (Milvus/PGVector), orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and operationalizing AI/ML solutions in production.
- Security & Compliance: Solid understanding of enterprise security principles (OAuth2, OIDC, encryption), data privacy (GDPR/CCPA/Local regulations), and secure system design.
Soft Skills & Mindset
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguous technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex architecture to both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Experience utilizing architecture modeling and documentation tools.
